It's a quiet Sunday in January. The snow is thawing, it will reach 61°F (16°C) tomorrow. The "children" (Lesley 26, Peter 25 and girlfriend Caitlin 21) playing in the snow on the pond at Christmas is already fading to memory.
Today I've done nothing but read and write all day in the aerie of our guest room.
Tomorrow, the semester starts and I have a feeling the throttle will engage into high gear for the next several months.
Let me just take this moment to breathe, sit like a stone, and age slowly.
